Two Heart-Rock Photos turned into ART

I chose two photographs to edit further. For the first photograph, I manipulated the exposure, increased the temperature and saturation, and used the neon special effect while changing the colors. For the second, I played around with exposure and temperature but I also increased the shadow and added the posterize special effect. I like the second photo better than it's original. The original had boring colors and the effects I chose for the new photo remind me of Andy Warhol.

Greetings 5M! Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Lizzy and I had many things to celebrate today, our first day completely on our own and we did awesome!!! First, we had a leisurely morning at our hotel.  I made us coffee and we spent some time updating our blog and making a game plan for the day.  Our main goal was to find the grocery store nearest to our hotel.  We had lunch on the way at a spot where we will become regulars.  The menu was in Chinese and we started to panic.  How on earth would we order?  There was only one other couple in the restaurant and the gal happened to be an English teacher at the High School.  Boy, were we lucky.  Her  English name was Elaine and we told her to order what was best at this particular restaurant.  We had sweet fish, rice, cucumber soup and a vegetable that translates to "good bitter."  It was no corned beef and cabbage but it was one of the best we've had yet! Waterfalls, Caves, and the Guizhou Countryside

Lizzy and I were determined to see the famous Huangguoshu Waterfall we had read so much about in our guidebooks.  Regarded as the No. 1 waterfall in China, we were curious to see it with our own eyes.  We learned that the most economical way to go was to join another Chinese tour.  I will say, I was as excited about getting on a another tour bus in China as I was about having a root canal but when a tour appears to be the most convenient option, we go :) Natalie and Lizzy on the tour bus The tour company planned to pick us up at our hotel at 6:30am.  Lizzy got a phone call that she could not understand, of course, and politely said, "Ok," as we rushed out to the street.  Sure enough, a van pulled up and the man motioned for us to get in.  Talk about blind faith!  I'd never hop into any van in the U.S.!
