I chose two photographs to edit further. For the first photograph, I manipulated the exposure, increased the temperature and saturation, and used the neon special effect while changing the colors. For the second, I played around with exposure and temperature but I also increased the shadow and added the posterize special effect. I like the second photo better than it's original. The original had boring colors and the effects I chose for the new photo remind me of Andy Warhol.

In this folder, I edited 5 photos using Picnik to enhance the photographs.

In this project, we took photos of a handheld object and then played around with photo-editing with the goal of manipulating two photographs into art.  I chose a heart-shaped rock that my friend Annie had given me during my last visit to see her in Los Angeles.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is one of my favorite places to visit when I return home to Ohio. I was just home last month and I was bummed that I didn't have time to check out the new exhibits (Lady Gaga's Meat Dress was there). The structure was designed by I. M. Pei who also designed the steel and glass pyramid for the Louvre in Paris as well as the East Building of the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. When I return home, it is mandatory that we at least drive past the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because I find the structure aesthetically appealing and the museum holds so much wonderful history of Rock and Roll.  Here's a link to the tour: Google Earth Tour - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

From Ashtabula, OH to Missoula, MT I am originally from Ashtabula, Ohio. It is located about an hour northeast of Cleveland on the shores of Lake Erie. The word "Ashtabula" means "River of Many Fish" in the Iroquois language. You may have heard of Ashtabula if you're a Bob Dylan fan; he mentions it in his song "You're Gonna Make Me Lonesome When You Go". If you love poetry, Carl Sandburg wrote a poem titled "Crossing Ohio when Poppies Bloom in Ashtabula".
